NEW YORK — The Real Houseswives of America star’s story is one of extreme sexual abuse.
The 25-year-old actress, who is the eldest daughter of former New York Jets owner Woody Allen, recently told The Huffington Post that she was “sexually enslaved” by her then-boyfriends.
She said she had to “have sex with them every night for weeks and months.”
She said her parents told her “they were in the habit of putting drugs in my water” and “they kept me in a room at night where they would have sex with me.”
Her parents were “in denial about it,” she said, adding, “They were not trying to make me go away.”
“I would tell them, ‘I can’t do this, but I can do this,'” she said.
“They would have me do things that were humiliating and they were very forceful.”
She also said she was taken to a private room and “forced to have sex” with other men, but that the abuse was “not physical.”
“It was very emotional,” she recalled.
“It was so intense.
I was like, ‘How do I even explain this?'”
She said the abuse lasted for months, and she only spoke out about the abuse in 2014, when her mother was hospitalized.
“My mom was in a coma for two months, so I’m really thankful for the help and the love I got,” she told HuffPost.
“But that’s when I knew something was wrong.”
Allen, who also owns the music-video production company Birdman and the Broadway production of the musical “Catch Me If You Can,” released a statement saying, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our friend Ashley and his family.
We will do everything in our power to support her and her family during this difficult time.”
The New York Police Department has launched an investigation into the allegations, but Allen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
